Mandeep works as a research histotechnician for various industry and academia orthopaedic projects. She previously worked as a gross technician in a clinical pathology laboratory.

Mandeep received her B.S. in biological sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and her M.S. from Colorado State University in toxicology. While working on her bachelor’s degree, she was awarded the Frost Summer Research Grant and was able to work on characterizing the effects of cell free supernatant from probiotics on Listeria monocytogenes. This opportunity was what ignited her curiosity and love for research. During her master’s degree, she served as vice president for the Toxicology Student Association where she helped students navigate courses, set up study sessions, and promoted team building.
