The OBRL hosts a suite of imaging modalities used to visualize in vivo and ex vivo tissues in situ.
Digital Radiography: The lab has standard bench and portable X-ray units.
Micro-computed tomography: The lab hosts a Scanco micro-CT 80 (Scanco Medical AG, Bruttisellen, Switzerland), with a scanning resolution as low as 10 microns. The system is also capable of performing trabecular morphological analyses.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging: Our companion laboratory hosts a GE Signa HD XT MRI system and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital hosts a 1.5 Tesla General Electric Signa MRI for in vivo imaging.
